SATURDAY & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7 & 8
co-taught by JAN NEVELIUS (7th dan Shihan, Stockholm, Sweden), and LINDA HOLIDAY (7th dan Shihan, Aikido of Santa Cruz).
JAN NEVELIUS, 7th dan Shihan, is a senior Aikido teacher based in Vanadis Aikido Dojo in Stockholm, Sweden, and author of the book Vaken Vila. He considers his principal teachers to be Seishiro Endo, 8th dan Shihan (Saku, Japan), and Christian Tissier, 8th dan Shihan (France). Jan Sensei emphasizes Musubi (connection), soft ukemi, and an approach to Aikido as never-ending research.
LINDA HOLIDAY, 7th dan Shihan, is the chief instructor of Aikido of Santa Cruz, California, and the author of Journey to the Heart of Aikido. She has devoted herself to Aikido for over 50 years, and trained intensively in Kumano, Japan in the 1970s. Her primary teacher is Motomichi Anno, 8th dan Shihan (Kumano, Japan).
