JOIN US  at Aikido of Santa Cruz on Saturday April 27, 10:00 - 2:00, for a special seminar to celebrate the spirit of the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba O-Sensei!  Our seminar and traditional participatory ceremony will be part of  the worldwide annual commemorations of O-Sensei, who concluded his long life on April 26, 1969, and continues to inspire us today.

The seminar will be co-taught by special guest instructor MATT FLUTY Sensei (Aikido Center Sacramento) and LINDA HOLIDAY Sensei (Aikido of Santa Cruz).  Matt Sensei and Linda Sensei share a deep connection with the Aikido teachers in Kumano, Japan -- especially Motomichi Anno Sensei and the late Michio Hikitsuchi Sensei,  personal students of O-Sensei who have devoted themselves to conveying his deep teachings of heart and spirit.

Please join us on April 27 to continue this tradition, with two spirited classes and a traditional, participatory Matsuri ceremony (including Norito chanting and Hono Embu offering demonstrations) to honor O-Sensei's memory.  We invite you to bring  a flower offering, and one of your favorite O-Sensei quotes, to share with everyone.

"Aikido is Love.  You make this great love of the universe your heart.  Then you must make your own mission the protection and love of all things.  To accomplish this mission must be the true Budo [martial way]." - Morihei Ueshiba O-Sensei
